Thank you to all who participated in the public vote on the Best MN Town of 2017! Join us on November 30th at our inaugural Best of Minnesota Extravaganza, where we will announce the winner of the Best MN Town search and spend the evening celebrating the people, the culture, the landmarks and the spirit of our state.

The public vote makes up 25% of each town’s final score. The score is scaled by population, so if a town receives votes equal to more than 80% of its population, it receives the full 100 points available. If the votes total 50%-80%, the town receives 75 points. For 20-50%, the town receives 50 points. For less than 20%, the town receives 25 points.

The other 75% of the final score comes from a panel of judges who are reviewing the 10 nominees’ submissions.
