Perhaps a lively entertainment scene with arts, culture or great dining options? More importantly, does it have a strong “spirit” of place that makes it a great community to live in and/or visit? Then perhaps your town is the Best Minnesota Town.

Minnesota Monthly is going to shine a spotlight on the Best MN Town – the town that most embodies the Spirit of Minnesota. The winner — it may be a small village or large city—will be showcased in a multi-page editorial feature, showcasing the area with opportunities for businesses, events, organizations, restaurants, hotels and more to purchase into this special section.

The winner and finalists will be chosen by the magazine’s editor, a panel of notable Minnesotans and the people of Minnesota. The selection process will use wide-ranging criteria including your responses to the questions below, qualitative and quantitative research, as well as a popular vote.
